is a fictitious law firm. Perhaps a poor attempt at humor on my part. The Blog is a vehicle for the expression of ideas on law, current events and politics. I am not currently monetizing the blog as I don’t have a real focus niche I’d like to blog about currently, but this may change.
About me:
I was born in England to first generation East Indian parents and moved to the U.S. to attend university in 1980. I earned an MA in Existential Psychology from Seattle University and practiced forensic psychology for several years. I attended Gonzaga University School of Law, as a Thomas Moore Scholar and graduated with a JD in 1994. I practiced criminal defense, divorce law, general civil litigation and served as corporate attorney for a regional internet service provider until leaving the workplace so my wife Lisa wife could attend graduate school.
I have lived and worked in England, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and worked in Bahrain, Thailand and The Philippines.
My wife Lisa Sem-Rodrigues and I have two sons ages 21and 16, have been married for almost 23 years, and we live in Grand Coulee, Washington State, USA.
My interests are:
- Rule of Law in Post Conflict Environments
- US Foreign Policy and Foreign Relations
- Criminal Law and Over Criminalization
- Consumer Protection
- Civil and Human Rights
- Personal Financial Education as a necessary component of US fiscal recovery
